Richard Turner and Sons, auctioneers at
Gisburn Auction Mart, recently installed a 24-7 Store cattle data system.
The system incorporates a data entry terminal located in the race prior to
the sale ring. This is upgradeable at a later date to include a
weighbridge input allowing for the weight of the animals to be included.
The lot numbers of the beasts to be sold are transmitted to the rostrum
based touch screen PC. This is the main control for the sale display
and links back to the back office PC system for retrieval of data scanned in
from the animals passport. |
